Dear Mary, it’s been six months now since we lost Tom and I re read this birthday post as I have many times. He was such a treasure to know and work with and he is so missed. But I read your post every now and then as it gives me strength to persevere. My own husband John was diagnosed with esophageal cancer around the time that Tom left us. It’s been such a struggle as you know so well. But your love and support for your husband reminds me always what a gift life really is and how fortunate some of us are to have met the loves of our lives. It doesn’t happen for everyone. I hope you and the family are well. Just wanted you to know that your message resonates.
