My love and prayers continue to be with each of your family - for God's grace , mercy and overwhelming peace as you each work through the daily challenges.
Lord, do not be far from Riley and his family. I pray that as they come to the fringes of their grief and enter it, that they would know your presence. That they would know that wherever they are and whatever they are feeling, it’s ok. You are with them in that. Allow them to be kind to themselves, to know they must do what is best for them at this time. You grieved, Father. You grieved brother, Jesus. You understand better than anyone the depth of all this. Please let them feel your presence, protect them from words said with good intentions yet that do not build up and comfort. Please provide a tribe to come around them and just weep or just laugh or just be still with them. Provide those who remind them that whatever they’re feeling is normal, they are not crazy, and they do not have to be ok right now. Pour love on them. In the midst of trial and pain and small victories, may they know that beyond the darkness they may feel, there is only light. You have them. Please give them grace for the journey.
What a courageous team you are. We are good friends with Rob Stephens and we are glad to follow Riley's progress!! Hooray for the good work. Rich and Donna McKamy
