We had to put Rick in the hospital yesterday. The pain meds were not working and he was angry and not taking his meds. He only has days left and we want him to be comfortable. It's the best quality of life that I can provide for hom. My heart is saddened and it's time for me to tell him he can go but I just cant do it yet. Will keep you posted. Thank you for all the love and support and prayers from everyone that we love.

Well here is an update on Rick. We got him off morphine and on the fentanyl patch which seems to help him focus more with us.
It breaks my heart to watch my soul mate to slip away from me. I love him so much and I am being cheated with my time with him.
The cancer is widespread so any treatments will not do him any good. We are keeping him comfortable and spending all our waking moments together. This is probably the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I would appreciate all the love and support that my friends and family will give us in this time of sadness.
Debbie thank you for your update. We pray for you both and ask God for a miracle for Rick. If there is anything else we can do let us know. In the meantime tell Rick we are dissing the Stupid Fucking Democrats for him while he is busy fighting off the cancer !
