Journal entry by Sommer Celmer

We moved in to our new home over the weekend and on Monday we had to call EMS for Rick. He ended up being admitted to the hospital for 36 hours. Our kids, as always were rockstars. Aaron noticed Rick’s speech becoming slurred and yelled for me to come quick. Over a span of a few seconds it got worse so I called 911. Moriah took care of Nathanael, Eden put the pets away and Aaron went outside and waited for EMS. Rick’s ct scan and mri both looked great - no signs of blood clots, occlusions or major stroke. He most likely had  a transient ischemic attack / tia with stress / over exhaustion being the cause. Currently, no changes are needed to his care and he’s feeling great. Today, we are back to unpacking and me telling him to sit down and rest. Thank you to everyone who reached out both here and afar. So glad God gives us peace no matter where we are.
