Richard’s Story

Site created on October 24, 2020

On October 21, Richard sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) after falling down a flight of stairs. On this site, I (Cassie) will keep everyone updated on his progress, and post any updates/needs of the family. Please ask any questions you may have here, and I will do my best to address them. Thank you.

Thank you to all who offered your support today. There are a few final details I wanted to make you aware of.

The slideshow is viewable to everyone at this link for a limited time.

If you would like the digital files for the photos from the slideshow (and more) sent to you, please email me (cassie.kanzenbach@gmail.com) to request them. For those who have already requested them, you will receive a download link from me in the coming days. If you have photos to share with me from the ceremony, you can send them to that email address as well.

If you would like to visit Dad's plot at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, he is in section 22, grave 1537. You can now place flowers at the gravesite if you would like. It is my understanding the headstone won't be up for a while.

The funeral ceremony is viewable at this link.

The burial ceremony is viewable at this link.
