Journal entry by Richard Eissfeldt

Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

We had a wonderful Celebration of Life on June 14th at Meramec Bluffs Chapel planned by Dick.  HE CHOSE to ask his music therapist (harpist) and chaplain from Hospice to do the duet of Panis Angelicus, which was sung at our wedding.  Our friend, Rick Armstrong, brought greetings from the Florida Georgia district and Alan Erdman, who followed Dick at LFCS spoke of our time in St Louis.  The sermon was given by Drew Ross from Denver.  He vicared during Dick's interim at Grace, St Pete.  We added extra chairs for the many guests.  What a witness!  10 of Dick's Canadian relatives came to be with us, including Dick's 91year old sister.

We committed Dick's ashes last Friday, the 28th, at the Jefferson Barracks here along the Mississippi.  Now, I am trying to complete paper work and get our affairs in order.  I hope to stay here at Meramec Bluffs, which is a great, supportive, loving community.  Our children have been very supportive.  Jodi and I leave on a cruise vacation on July 10th for a relaxing recup time.  I plan this to be my last note to all of you, but I hope we can all stay in touch.  To all my Gamma sisters, I plan to make the reunion in September.

I love you all.  Thank you for all your support and prayers.
Ann
