Richard’s Story

On January 3rd, 2019 Richard Dunscombe was struck by a car traveling southbound in his electric wheelchair on highway 25 in Watertown, Minnesota. 
The accident left him with life threatening injuries that include a broken 6th and 7th vertebrae, a severed spinal cord, 2 broken legs, along with blood and swelling in his brain and fluid in his lungs.
He is currently in the truma ICU unit at HCMC in a semi induced coma awaiting further surgery.

This is Richie’s final entry, providing info to anyone interested in attending his funeral.

A mass and a service will be held at St. Mary’s in Humboldt, IA at 11:00am, February 23, 2019.
