For those who are fans of the animated Disney movie “American Tail” would appreciate the title of this post.

Today we had the post-op apppointment with Dr. Kathrine Harrington and it went very well. She was pleased with Rhonda’s progress and healing. She did tweek some of the meds and released her to drive short distances. Rhonda will not go back to her regular cardiologist and continue to monitor the healing and the cardio rehab. 

The rehab will start at the end of July and go for four to six weeks depending on how Rhonda is doing. She has been a model patient doing her breathing excercises, resting and increasing her walking to 30 minutes at a time. 

Thank you all so much for the prayers, encouragement in so many ways. We are truly blessed to have a community of friends and family who have been there for us during this journey. We serve an awesome God who answers prayers and blesses us beyond measure.
