Dearest Father Austin,
Continued healing prayers from Jim and me. Recent conversions and memories of time spent together at St. Bonaventure remind me of the gift of Friendship . You have entered so many lives bringing your joy of everyday life and contagious laugh. If I close my eyes, I can hear " that laugh". I am wondering how your sight is becoming clearer in other ways and what you can see with your heart these days? We pray you will hear our prayers and feel our love as you continue back to better health.

Father I think we shall all pray for the intercession of St, Lucy's for the healing of your eyes. How difficult to have eye disturbances! Such patience is required to put up with visual disturbances!! A very difficult time for you , I'm sorry and will pray for healing and patience and living in Gods will which is so confusing but HE always has a plan for everything that happens to and with us and one day you'll say; oh! that was why!!

Wow! Lots of investigations but not a lot of definitive answers. Well, we keep praying and hoping.
You are the first person I've heard use the term "strabysmus" in conversation in about 30+ years! I'd almost forgot about it as a condition. Yes, I think it would be possible for it to be "triggered" by ischemia. I hope your physicians keep digging away to find answers.

Gaudete in Domino Semper!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this update. It was wonderful to see you and to worship with you at church on Saturday. The courage that you are exhibiting in the way you are proceeding to manage your challenges is inspiring. As a fervent believer in the power of prayer I will continue to implore God on your behalf.
My warmest best wishes,
Della
