Lord, sustain and comfort this precious family over the next few days as they celebrate Renny‘s homecoming. We thank you that you are the God of all comfort. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
As I reflected what virtuous characteristics Renny had imprinted upon me, the following Scriptures came to mind:
whoever restrains his lips is prudent; a man of understanding remains silent; the heart of the righteous ponders how to answer; whose speech is gracious; the words of a wise man's mouth win him favor.
Renny didn't easily utter a word in Sunday class, but when he did, his words were always succinct and peppered with wisdom.
My sympathy go out to you and your family. Losing a dad like Renny is hard. He is with the Lord but the hole in your family and life is huge. My dad did not have the kind of education your dad did, but his love of the Lord and his witness were very similar. and i still miss his witness.
May the Lord Renny served surround you all with his love, peace and comforting presence.
