Praying for you all during this difficult time. Renna is with Jesus now, where there is no more pain, or hardship, or tears. May God bring you all His peace as you mourn the loss of your beloved little girl, while rejoicing that she can be with our Lord and Savior.
For nearly two years thereās not been many days weāve not prayed for Renna. When praying with my wife or family we would always call her by name, but when it was just me and the Lord I would often just ask Him to heal my little cousinā¦ He knew who I was talking about.
Over the past several weeks I found myself praying with Mark 5 on my mind, when Jesus raised Jairusās daughter, especially verse 41:
Taking her by the hand he said to her, "Talitha cumi," which means, "Little girl, I say to you, arise."
When I first heard that Renna had went on ahead, I felt a kinda sad that my prayer had gone unanswered. But then something occurred to meā¦ Jairusās daughter and the widowās son and even Lazarus were raised back to physical life for a while only to grow old and die again. So physical restoration was not the point of Him raising that little girl. He took her hand, He called her name, she opened her eyes and she saw Jesus. That was the miracleā¦ she opened her eyes and she saw Jesus. That prayer has been answered.
