I met Renee this fall over a two-day trip to Ankeny, full of meetings and receptions and tours, carefully planned and orchestrated by Renee. What I recall most about her was the pride and joy in her face as she talked about her city, her daughters, and the business. As we left town and she gathered the CJM staff for our send-off and some final words from Trent, I remember how she watched him with a smile as he talked, encouraging him and supporting him. I could tell she truly loved her life and all those in it.

I will never make mints again without seeing her face as she popped one in her mouth ❤️ she was such a bright ray of sunshine anytime she was around! I don't believe I ever saw her without a smile or unhappy! Heaven truly got an angel 💔

I met Renee once this summer in a business meeting. She immediately gave the impression of a strong and passionate woman. I would imagine she has provided many young women and girls inspiration.
