Dearest Renee,
DJ passed on the link for this blog. I wanted to say hello and also thank you for always greeting me with a smile each time we saw one another. You have been an amazing partner to us at LEARNstyle. For many years, we have admired your strong advocacy and support for students and families all over York region. I always enjoyed hearing about the organization's contributions to special education. We have so much to thank you for!

Your drive and commitment are consistently assisting people as there is a ripple effect from your efforts, even now that you have stepped away from the LDAYR.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
With love,
Nicole

Renee, you my friend have always been a firecracker!

And over the years you have warmed my heart and put a huge smile on my face when I had the good fortune of bumping into you. I remember the very first time we met, it was when my brother and I were running AT camps, you were so supportive of us, and so encouraging. We were nervous, but your spirit calmed us. That now must have been about 17 years ago. You have been and will continue to be in my prayers.

Love always, DJ

Dear Renee,
Thank you so much for the help that you gave Edward and I. Thank you for generously sharing your insights, knowledge and experiences. We went from tears and not knowing what we were going to do to we will advocate for us and others. You taught us that. Your legacy lives in us and others. You helped us summon the courage to cultivate an environment where we can shine. Thank you for holding our hands and guiding us through the assessments. We are so lucky to have you in our lives. Dear Renee know that although I haven’t been able to attend the parent support group meetings last year that Renee , you are in my thoughts. I really appreciated the time you took to personally reach out during the early part of the pandemic last year during lockdown. It was nice to know that you cared to take the time to touch base and check in with me. I hope that you finds solace and comfort knowing that you were an integral part of LDAYR and you will be missed.

God bless.

Dear Renee
I wish you are feeling better now!
We have not talked for two months. I really miss you!
I want to thank you for all your supports for these years! How lucky I am have you as my consultant and friend!
As a mom of an ADHD child, there were lots challenges in my daily life, I often got worried. After I met you in Ldayr, the experience you shared on how to teach and help the kids, fight for them when needed had inspired me a lot. I felt much relaxed when I knew I could get your suggestions and direction when I needed.
You are not only a knowledgeable consultant, but also a strong mom-the kind of mom I want to be.
You always give suggestions by standing other’s shoes. During the pandemic time, your calls had comforted me and encouraged me when I was struggling. Your kindness impacted me and my family. I believe there are lots of family benefited from your advice.
I hope you are getting better soon, Renee! Be strong! I need you, my family need you and many many families need you! We want to see you and talk to you in the parent support meeting!
May God heal you , renew your strength, and continue to use you to help many more families!

Dear Renee, I hope you are comforted by Family at this difficult time. You have supported so many in your career and always such a staunch supporter of your family and friends. I so enjoyed our conversations as I volunteered at LDYR, really looking forward to our talks!!! Also, I remember our long coffees at the food court in Hillcrest Mall where we tried to solve the world's problems. My last memory of you is all the joy you had in dancing at Nina's wedding, you were the first one on the dance floor and there was no stopping you! I will never forget the sparkle in your eyes and your mischievous sense of humour. Calling your rescue dog Bones, and loving him like you do , you are a good person and you deserve peace and love. Thinking of you all the time, so lucky to have met you!!! Love,
Margaret
