Newest Update

Journal entry by Ree Thompson

I'm back! My news is good and to God be the glory! I have been feeling very well other than a few aches and pains of growing old. I have heard from several people asking for an update so here goes:
I had a bone scan and CT Scan in September that didn't come out very good so my oncologist decided to repeat them at this time, a bit before they were due again. When I went in to see my oncologist yesterday, she was extremely excited saying that all my numbers were perfect and there was a marked improvement seen in the tumors. The exact words are: "Interval decrease in uptake associated with pre-existing osseous metastases. No new site of osseous metastatic disease is identified."
This is fantastic news. I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Israel last November. What an experience! When I was baptized in the River Jordan, my pastor prayed for complete healing. I'm believing that God has answered that prayer and I'm standing firm on the promise that Jesus can heal our bodies and make us new. My motto is still "Either way I win." How can we lose when Jesus is on our side!
