Raymond’s Story

Site created on June 11, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. for Raymond Jones.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
On 6/6/18, Ray was working at the cabin and experienced a fall in which he suffered a fractured neck.  He was life-flighted to the U of U Hospital where he underwent spine surgery on his C2-C6 vertebrate.  He is strong as an ox and has already regained use of his arms and is breathing on his own.  He has a long rode to recovery ahead of him and will be in the hospital for at least the next 30 days.  Barbara and his children are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love, support and prayers thus far!  Please check back in to this site for updates and ways that you can support Ray and his family during this traumatic time.
We request that you do not visit him with out contacting Barbara, until he gets out of the ICU which will hopefully not be much longer.  The best thing for him at this time is to rest and heal.  We will be updating this site regularly.
We welcome you to leave a message here and we will be sure to convey your love and well wishes to Ray!
