Journal entry by Karen Paladichuk

Dear family and friends,

Ray and I are  on the back end of our healing journey. The kids have returned home, the tests and results are all in and completeted. One more final appt for Ray in mid July and we will be ready to start a new season of our lives.  We have had miracelous past weeks.  All biopsies back and cancer free.

Ray has a scar on his forhead that will be a badge of honor for him as a reminder of his surgery.
Our  children and grandchildren have surrounded us with a bubble of protection as we experienced our surgeries and early recoveries. Our support from Church, Bible study groups near and far and neighbors who have prayed, sent cards,  short messages on Caring Bridge and many other blessings extended to us, hace reminded us of the power of prayer.
The Caring Bridge website afforded us the ability to impart information without repetition and with accuracy, and saved  our energy as each surgery and recovery happened. Please promote this site to your families and loved ones if they are having health issues. It was the best communication tool !!!😊

We look forward to short visits throughout the months of July and August. We will be remaining close to home and with Ray not driving he will need his friends to reach out and save him from feeling housebound. You also might get a call from us asking to visit you.

So for now we sign off and out of Caring Bridge. Your prayers and love have carried us over this Bridge to a new season of our lives and we are confident that what the Lord has started He will complete in our future. Please take care of yourselves, your loved ones and friends cause at the end of the day they are the only important relationships that count. Life can make us so busy that we neglect the gold as we wade through mud. ( my saying)  God Bless those that imparted their Gold to us.  Love, Karen and Ray
