A post from Ryan Visconti:

We said goodbye to my dad,  William Randy Visconti, today at 2:59pm as he departed this world and entered into the Kingdom of Heaven. We will miss him so much! He loved his wife, his 4 kids and their spouses, and his 6 grandkids so well. He devoted his life to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples in the local church. Many thousands of people found Jesus through my dad’s ministry. He loved to laugh, eat good food, and be with his family. He’s now healed, whole, and celebrating the eternal rewards of a life lived for God’s glory! We are sad and will miss him, but we know we’ll see him again! See you  later, dad! We love you! You were a great pastor, husband, farther, and grandpa! “Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the joy of your Lord!”

And an update to the church family from Ryan Visconti:

Hi Church, if you hadn’t heard, my dad passed on to be with Jesus. My mom said tonight, “I’m disappointed that he wasn’t healed, but I don’t want people to think that means we shouldn’t pray big prayers for God’s miraculous healing. We should, because it’s the right thing to do!” She was concerned for your faith and spiritual health even in her moment of mourning! That’s so my mom! 😁 My father loved this church and all of you and he’s the one who hired me and commissioned me to lead the church and he dreamed of seeing it grow into what it’s become today! We’re sad to say goodbye to him, but we know we’ll see him again. I’ll probably be taking a couple weeks to mourn this loss and regroup and then I’ll see you again soon as we push forward together! My dad, Randy, was so pumped to see us continue reaching more people for Jesus! And THAT is what we’re going to do! Love you all!

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:13-14‬ ‭

January 31, 2021

As many of you know, Randy has been in the hospital for the last three weeks. In early January, he caught Covid-19 and ended up needing to be hospitalized from the scarring that had occurred in his lungs. Since being hospitalized, he has had to be sedated and intubated. This was our best hope of letting him rest. It also was our best chance at buying time for his lungs to heal. However, it wasn’t helping to improve his condition.

On his birthday, we authorized a tracheotomy to be done (this is where they make an incision in the neck so that they can insert a breathing device, known as a tracheostomy, to help give a more direct airway through the trachea). This has helped many patients in the same state, and we are hoping and believing that it will eventually help him to turn the corner with healing his lungs.

Currently, he is stable. We are praying that his vitals become progressively better so that we can bring him out of sedation and start the recovery process.

We know that after the worst of this, he will be facing a recovery process that will be several months long, and we are gearing up for that journey. It’s not going to be easy, but Randy Visconti is a fighter. What’s more, he has thousands of people petitioning our God on his behalf. This means the world to us. Please continue to pray for him and continue to trust that God is in control of it all.

Verses For Encouragement

Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Isaiah 41:10 "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Deuteronomy 31:8 "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Matthew 11:28-29 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Isaiah 40:31 "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.'

Isaiah 60:22b "at the right time, I, the LORD, will make it happen."
