Journal entry by Emily Visconti

A post from Ryan Visconti:

We said goodbye to my dad,  William Randy Visconti, today at 2:59pm as he departed this world and entered into the Kingdom of Heaven. We will miss him so much! He loved his wife, his 4 kids and their spouses, and his 6 grandkids so well. He devoted his life to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples in the local church. Many thousands of people found Jesus through my dad’s ministry. He loved to laugh, eat good food, and be with his family. He’s now healed, whole, and celebrating the eternal rewards of a life lived for God’s glory! We are sad and will miss him, but we know we’ll see him again! See you  later, dad! We love you! You were a great pastor, husband, farther, and grandpa! “Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the joy of your Lord!”

And an update to the church family from Ryan Visconti:

Hi Church, if you hadn’t heard, my dad passed on to be with Jesus. My mom said tonight, “I’m disappointed that he wasn’t healed, but I don’t want people to think that means we shouldn’t pray big prayers for God’s miraculous healing. We should, because it’s the right thing to do!” She was concerned for your faith and spiritual health even in her moment of mourning! That’s so my mom! 😁 My father loved this church and all of you and he’s the one who hired me and commissioned me to lead the church and he dreamed of seeing it grow into what it’s become today! We’re sad to say goodbye to him, but we know we’ll see him again. I’ll probably be taking a couple weeks to mourn this loss and regroup and then I’ll see you again soon as we push forward together! My dad, Randy, was so pumped to see us continue reaching more people for Jesus! And THAT is what we’re going to do! Love you all!

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:13-14‬ ‭
