Serene, thanks for the update on Randy. So glad his chemo is over so he can get feeling better. Tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY on Wednesday. Let him know we're sending our hugs and prayers. The weather here has taken a turn and has been cold, so we're anxiously awaiting the AZ sunshine.

Yahoo! Go Broncos and Go Randy!! Even recovery from chemo can't keep you from being the all important 12th man. Now get the pads back on and go to work on your recovery. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this critical time prior to your surgery. Love you and Serene. Go Team Matthews.

So glad 'the battle for the body' medicine is over with so he can recover a greater sense of his new-normal life. I think I've told you this before, but many couples take for granted the little daily things they do just because they are together and they can. I remember a time when Corvin was feeling OK enough for us to go to Home Depot together, and it was almost like a date! We just reveled in doing something normal like we used to do. It is all too easy to take for granted the blessings of good health. Love to you both, Karen

Happy 60th birthday Randy. Mine was Oct 13th. Celebrate in Surprise Arizona, We were there when the 3-4 inches of rain fell from the skies . From the pictures Serene posted, you all got much more and flooding to boot then we did in Surprise. We took a boat cruise on Canyon Lake. www.Dollysteamboat.com. We loved it. They offer dinner cruises too. It is one of those things to do that most don't think about. Hugs to you both. Kick the shit out of this!!
