Journal entry by Raffi Kodikian —
Raffi Kodikian began his insurance career in San Francisco in 2004, starting on the ground floor as an administrative assistant and office manager, and quickly growing to add Assistant Broker to his resume. It wasn’t long before Raffi was broking his own accounts, with a focus on Lawyers Professional Liability, working both on program business and open-brokerage products. Given the volume of attorneys in California, Lawyers Professional Liability soon became the cornerstone of his book, and since that time Raffi has placed coverage for firms of all sizes and Areas of Practice. His focus has been on California firms, a market unlike any other in the country, though he has placed firms in states all across the US. Raffi Kodikian graduated from Northeastern University in Boston in 1997 with a BA in Journalism. Raffi hails from the Philadelphia area where, as a child, he languished as an Eagles fan, but is now known by his newly-earned nickname: Champ.
