Journal entry by Thelma Ensink —
Today is a very special day. Rafael is scheduled to go home today. After months in the hospital, LTAC unit, and most recently Mary Free Bed, Rafael is strong enough to continue his therapy at home. It is truly a miracle. It has been an amazing recovery.
He will continue to need speech and physical therapy for some weakness, particularly on his left side. The family is so thankful that he will be able to do that at home.
Dinelsa, Johan, and Grace and the rest of their family want to thank you for your prayers, care, and financial support for them during this difficult time. They are so thankful for all of you. They felt God's care through you, the body of Christ. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Please enjoy these pictures as a testimony of what God has done in Rafael's life over the past few months. It has been a long road, but God has been faithful in caring for Rafael and the family in the midst of suffering. Praise be to God.
