Rae is having a good week.  No fever for almost 3 days.   Then back to 100.  They go away quickly    His incision continues to improve  but isn’t completely closed.   It looks better then I thought it would!  tomorrow he is 4 weeks post op!  Doing well and pain free.   His nurse,Abbi, decorated his tree today.   Rae and I are both ready for some luck and positive vibes in the month of March.  #PrayforRae

Another day another fever.   We did have 24 hours without a fever. Still doesn’t look or act sick. It was a day of relaxing at home   No nurse  just me and my buddy and snow. And Isaiah secluded in his room.  (He came out for snow removal ). We will sleep well when Stacey arrives to watch Rae.

Hi from Rae!  Rae has taught us to expect the unexpected. Go with the flow. Don’t sweat the small stuff.  Last minute plans are best.....
It all held true today.   This morning around 8 we were told he could be discharged after xray and drain removal.  That was all accomplished by noon.  Then we waited and waited  not sure what happened to the time but I was watching the clock to get out of town before rush hour.  A last minute set of vitals and we were out the door. Until we were not.  He had a fever of 101.5.  Still told we could go and d/c inst say to call with temp 101.5 or greater.   Ummm. They are now so what do we do?    After Tylenol and much discussion his temp came down and we were in our way.....until we weren’t.     Saw the surgeon in the hallway as we were leaving    He decided we were staying!   Back to our room we went and here we sit.   Observation tonight to be sure temp does not continue.  We are both so ready to be home.   Please pray for health for Rae and a discharge tomorrow.   #PrayforRae
