Good Morning dear Rachel,
If it were allowed, there would be a new book in the Bible, the Rachel Book. I grieve with you in your suffering, it is horrible...but not hopeless...it is our Lord holding you up for sure...He is aquainted with our grief as he suffered the torture and humiliation of the cross on our behalf. I know his hand i upon you and his right hand is leading you through these dark days. I pray a cure is coming, fir your sake and the many like you, and yet to be in this valley of the shadow of death. There is nothing it seems, fair and just about it...but to witness your soul's love for God and His love for you is real through it all. Youve had to trust his provision daily, no more, no less, just enough. I pray he will heal you so you will live to see your children's children and thereby give you a living testimony!! His coming wont be soon enough for you, but wouldnt it be great if we were chosen to be in the rapture and never sleep? Although, the dead (asleep)in Christ shall rise FIRST...its a toss up for the Joy that is set before us. Im not even a year out from BRCA ER+ ,so I dont know what the future holds, but we know w who holds the future. Its scary to read about your suffering and daunting everytime you rise up like a Phoenix, I so pray God will give you blessed rest and peace in a living cure...for us all, a cure....in the meantime I will be your prayer warrior. You are the bravest person that I know. I know that there are times you do not feel brave or strong, but I can see it in you. I have seen you battle through pain, anxiety, anger, tears, resentment, IV's, chemo, heart failure, high blood pressure, pneumonia, swelling, too thin, anemic, and much, much more. All of this while continuing to be a wife, mother, daughter, friend and servant of God. Some how, you always, come out on the strong side because you have Jesus at your side. When you try to get ahead of Him, He pulls you back. When you lag behind Him, He pulls you up. He is in this with you, right at your side. You are my inspiration and a true witness to your faith in Jesus Christ. I love you.

It IS funny how everyone (me included) is "throwing down" because we have to stay inside or because our favorite restaurant is closed, but we don't stop to realize that isolation is an every day part of people who are physically compromised! I gripe because I can't see or hold my grandchildren, but I wouldn't even want to guess how many hours/days you've had to be without the physical touch of your kids and husband. I'm glad you wrote this post-it puts things in perspective so well! You are loved and prayed for-don't forget that-and as soon as we are all free to "move about", Mom and I want to send a home cooked meal to you guys. Praying for God's continued blessings, Marsha.
