Dearest Rachel,
I often read and reflect on the story of Jehoshaphat in II Chronicles 20. Jehoshaphat was afraid and he told God all about his fears! "YOU will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf...do not be afraid or dismayed....go out against them , and the LORD will be with you. Then Jehoshaphat bowed his head to the ground...worshiping the LORD. Early in the morning Jehoshaphat and his army went out and he gave them counsel to sing to the LORD and to praise him in holy attire. SO...they sang!!
"Give thanks to the LORD, for his steadfast love endures forever." Then...the LORD set an ambush against the enemy!!!!k
The story of Jehoshaphat is also your story...
Continue to sing praises of thanksgiving to our LORD and see the ambush of the LORD against the enemy!
My dear friend Ruth (Caul) shared your story with me and I am forever grateful that she did! I am stronger because of the perseverance that you and your family have exemplified.
Sweet blessings!

I will continue to pray for this dear family of 3, Taylor , Rachel, and Hudson, that through this very hard trial of life, that they would see God’s hand on them the whole way. That they would be ‘strong in Him and the strength of His might’, ‘that when they are afraid they will trust in Him’. The great God Almighty! Storming Heaven’s doors for them! Today!

What a hopeful, loving message to wake up to!
Laurie & Thad, I thank God for your demonstrating to our grandson and his parents what the sacrificial love of Christ looks like. How we thank Him for the healing so far and trust Him for hope ahead!
Now pls pray for our other Grandson #2 to gain strength daily to be sent home from NICU as soon as God provides.
