Just a quick update...at 6 weeks post op I’m almost completely pain free and so we’re ready to storm 2020 with all our might 💪!!!
I will be having reconstructive surgery in February and it’ll be a bit of a process well into summer but have been told this will be a breeze in comparison to the double mastectomy (thankfully 😅). I’m also on medication for at least 5 years to suppress my hormones since my cancer was feeding off my Progesterone and Estrogen. It’s still hard to believe I won’t be having to do Chemo or radiation.
As we concluded our 2019 (with such a harsh reality check in October), our family realized to be that much more grateful for the time God allows, for the precious people in our lives, and for ALL the other blessings we too often take for granted.
We pray for u a HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR with grateful hearts, with precious people, and a newfound appreciation for all the blessings given!
