Journal entry by Hilary Avila —
Today stunk. There was no sugar coat about it, but even in the midst of hard times I am reminded of Gods love for Stella and I. I had to go get the motorcycle Ryan was on today because it was towed and they charge per day. Thankfully, a mom from Stellas school took her all day. First foundations has always been a blessing in our lives. So many good people of faith there. My mom and I drove down there twice and we couldn’t get it in the trailer. My mom and I got gasoline on us, super heavy bike trying to push it up a ramp into the trailer. I yelled at her once 😐. Sorry mom. Zero success. We are going back tomorrow with manpower. It just wasn’t fun. I learned more about the accident, I had to see the bike, I couldn’t get it finished or out of my way and I have to see it tomorrow. Ugh , but our sweet friends dropped dinner off for us and another friend mailed a snack pack box and Stella and I have full belly’s and warm hearts and are reminded we are not alone and are loved by God and by many. Thanks everyone who has called , texted , messaged , sent stuff, prayed , or even just thought of us. We feel it and we feel cared for and wrapped in God’s arms.
