My deepest sympathy to you , as you morn the physical loss, of Vance. But for him we rejoice ss he is now in heaven perfectly healed.
I remember a very young Vance and Julue coming to serve a Third Reformed Church in Pella, and Vance teaching the Bethel Bible series. I learned so much in that class. I count it a privelege to know this amazing couple.

It is a strange and beautiful thing that at the same time we mourn our loss and we can also celebrate your dad’s new life in heaven. All because of Jesus.

I am sad for those of us left behind, and grateful for Vance's entry into Heaven. With Vance being the servant leader he is, we will likely feel his prayers for each of us.
