Ella’s Story

Site created on September 19, 2020

On august 25th our little angel along with her brother, sister, and good friend were involved in a rollover accident on the way home from school. they were only a mile from home when the sheriff came to our house to tell us the kids were in an accident. At that moment i cannot explain how we felt, our worst nightmare had just came to life. The officer told us the kids were injured but little Ella brooke was in critical condition. They proceeded to mediflight brooke and her brother keaton to childrens hospital and OU trama. keaton sustained a fractured femer, fractured pelvis, and fractured back. raelynne had 30 stitches in her face and arms. little Ella had to be put in a drug induced coma. she had major brain swelling with a TBI. Doctors working with her have been amazing and doing all they can do to help our angel. she is such a fighter and letting us know she is strong and she will overcome al of this. we have had ups and downs along the way. she is on a ventilator to help with her breathing. here lately she is showing progress, she has opened her eyes and moved her head also her hands. Doctors are hoping with all the progress she is showing to hopefully move her to bethany childrens rehab where she will do all her physical therapy. At this time we do not know how much she can do or even if she remembers anything. lots of prayer for this sweet little angel and all the kids involved is what we need. thank you to everyone following her story and praying for our angel.

Update:

Our little angel is doing much better today. Doctors have said that her breathing is much better. She was able to move her head a little and open her eyes more often. She even smiled💞💞💞. The plans are to have her off the ventilator by the end of the week and soon to bethany childrens rehab. There we will know more about what she can do and remember. This little angel is a fighter and she's showing us everyday that she can do this. Thank you everyone for all the prayers and concerns.
