In November 2020 Mia completed treatment and is in remission.  We are using this site, along with Facebook, to keep family and friends updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Journal entry by Nathan Stabile

Merry Christmas family and friends. Mia is doing well, we thank you all for the continued prayers. It was not an easy first year post treatment but a million times better than treatment, and we are so thankful to have her. We had several scares this year. But all scans, including several additional to check new issues, all came back showing known spots stable and no new growth. We mourned so many of Mia's friends here in Colorado and Facebook friends around the country passing this year, she at a young age understands just how blessed she is. Mia is getting strong, her endurance improves nearly daily. Sometimes its two steps forward one step back, but we take that blessing. All three kids had birthdays at home, and Thanksgiving, Easter, everything at home!!! It seems simple but it meant so much to them this year. The girls puppies are growing and are now little doggies. Ronan and the girls have been building forts and playing outside every an all chances they get. As parents, well we are thankful, we want to help other families, and we have many deep scars that hurt but we thank God for opening our eyes to people in such pain. Thank you all again. We wish we could see you all and thank you all in person, hopefully one day soon. From Mia and the Stabile family.
