What a testament yours and Jake’s life is to the love you have for the Lord! You both lived and you continue to live a complete trust in your faith in our God that has encouraged and inspired those of us who love you both. Thank you for living your love for the Lord every day through all the tears and all the why’s and sadness. I love you Connie❤️

Thank you for sharing Auntie Connie. We miss Uncle Jake too. We keep you and family in prayer. As you have said "we can trust the Lord", I am confident that God who is your Father will continue to reveal His wonderful plans to you- For He is unchanging, loving and caring, the truth and the life. Uncle Jakes life is really a blessing that reminds me of a living a life of purpose, living being satisfied in the calling to know our God and maker and make Him known to all the world. Yes, all your realization is important. We slow don, take time to process and hope to just be satisfied living and yeilding in the presence of our King. You are forever in my heart. I've been praying for you and family. You are not alone. Thank God for His grace and mercy. He will be forever in our hearts and memories. - Roseann G

Hi Connie, thank you for taking the time to encourage us through yours and Jake’s life. I could not believe he left so soon. We were just getting to know him up at Cultivate Community Workspace and there were so many of us who enjoyed his company, his constant encouragement to those coming up behind him, his exciting stories, and his growing love for us. He was so life giving to be around!

What an incredible legacy. I wish I had more time with him.

Hope 2022 is a great year for you. Stop by Cultivate anytime. I would love to meet you.

Best,
Troy

Your friends and family are here to stand for you when you cannot stand, cry for you when you cannot cry, and pray for you when you cannot pray.

I love you dearly Connie. I don’t know how you’ve survived this first year. But then I do-God! Only God is big enough to give you what you needed each day. Jake was right in that we are to love God first. That is such a good example for all of us. I pray for you and your family every day. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I lifted your name in prayer this morning, as I do most mornings. I pray God's continual blessings for you. I know you will forever miss Jake. The scripture says the two become one, so you've lost part of you and that can't be replaced. My prayers for you will continue.

The first time we had time with Jake we took him to lunch after church. You were gone to help deliver a grandchild. We were so impressed with Jake and his obvious love for the Lord. He was such a servant. It was also obvious he loved you and admired you greatly. Jake made a big impact on the Southside church. We all miss him. Love you, Connie❤️

Jake! Jake! Jake! What an amazing man he was. I remember the first time meeting him at Southside. Connie you were on a mission trip and he was SO proud of you. He was the kind of person one just feels fortunate to meet. I remember telling Ronnie how we should be watching for y’all to return- we need folks like y’all in our mist. Again, I feel so blessed to have known Jake and so selfishly sad he is not with us. Won’t that glorious day when you see him again be wonderful! Love you.
