Poppy’s Story

Site created on October 25, 2021

Our wonderful Poppy Jane Siaw was born on October 23, 2021 via emergency C-section in Palm Spring, California. At 28 weeks and 2 lbs. 9 oz. she is a miracle and a fighter! We will be posting updates on here for how Kylee and Poppy are doing and how you can be specifically praying. Right now, Kylee is recovering well, but needs prayers for complete healing. They have extended her stay by another day, as she is having some respiratory issues.  Poppy is off the respirator and the goal is for her to breathe continuously on her own. She forgets to breathe from time to time so she gets a puff of air, which reminds her to breathe.  She is being tube fed, but they have given her a swab of Kylee's milk and she gobbled it up. She is also a thumb sucker! Ben and Kylee haven't been able to hold her yet, but are so excited to do so.

The Siaw family and Tsuru family are so thankful for all of their prayer warriors during this time!
