Journal entry by Kimberly Young

Lillie had a debulking surgery today in her left arm. Surgery went very well, he was able to remove the rest of lymphatic malformation in her left arm and armpit area. He said he didn’t encounter much lymphatic fluid at all and it appeared to be very little microcystic disease left in the arm-praise God! If she is able to wake up well and pain is controlled on medicine, he will let us come home today, we just have to wait and see how she is. She will come home with the drain and we will follow up next week to have it pulled on Wednesday. This should be the last debulking surgery she has for a long while- possibly into her teen years. He talked about possibly doing some laser treatments to her hemangiomas in the future to lighten them. He also discussed her right arm webbing in the elbow and he believes he can do a surgery to release the tissue so she can gain full range of motion in that arm (that would be HUGE for Lillie because she is so athletic and just to improve daily life for her as well.) Thank you all for praying for our sweet girl. God is with her for sure. Please continue to pray for healing for her with no complications.
