Joan Strauman, my friend of 46 years has passed on.  While I am deeply saddened by my good friend leaving this earth I couldn't be happier for her.  Joan was the reason I experienced the world of dance. She LOVED to dance. Joan was highly educated, an avid reader (MBA in Library Science UT) and world traveler.  Joan enjoyed life everyday.  She was joyous, upbeat and just happy!  She was a great example for all.  Joan lived simply.  She had an unwavering faith in God.  Thank you God for giving me Joan.  She enriched my life.  I know she is in Paradise with you now and that soothes my soul.  Love you Joan.  Val
