With a bit over 28 years of life with this woman, I have so many memories, that it would be hard for me to pick any particular ones out. So I will comment on her accent, which was for some reason, "southern", which I called her Arkansas accent. Everyone who knew her, would comment on her accent. She was from Nebraska, but had an Arkansas accent. For instance, she would say " Nan" instead of "Nine" and "Fav" instead of " Five". When she worked for Walmart, her job was to answer the phone when someone called, and then would PAGE for the person being wanted on the phone. And of course, this would go across the intercom, with her Arkansas accent. And the other workers would tease her about it.
