Journal entry by Holly Farmer —
The following is a short synopsis from Holly:
Results came back. Phil has colon cancer in bottom lobes of his lungs. He also has a 1 &1/2 inch tumor in front of his tailbone. Im guessing it's in his colon? There's a spot on his right kidney that Dr. Is going to watch, but he doesn't know if it's anything, or just from the dye. Phil starts new chemo next weds. He'll take pills daily, & do an IV every other week. Dr. Said we won't see benefits for about a month. Hoping it will keep cancer from growing & spreading. And we hope keeps his lungs from filling up. But it's not curable. He could get a bad rash, but we're praying he doesn't get too bad of side effects. Phil is still in good spirits. We're praising God he isn't in any pain. Just difficulty breathing.
