Dear Child of God, Sarah,

We have read and re-read your journal entries many times over these very few months. Always we were amazed by the detail that was shared. Your medical training and attention to tiny detail was so obvious in your writings.

But, what was most impressive, and we always looked for it, was your witness to your faith, knowledge that God truly was always in control, and your intention to continue your reliance on Him, knowing that He alone could be trusted.

It was so difficult to hear from Mark and Judy that you had lost the earthly presence of your beloved Phillip. Sarah, our hearts ache for you in this sadness and we can only throw all of our pleas for God's soothing balm of healing directly to the Great Physician Himself. We pray that you will be bathed hourly and daily in His gracious gift of comfort and peace.

We are greatful for Phillip's Christian faith and that his soul now rests safely with his Heavenly Father.

The Peace of Christ attend you, dear Sarah.

We love you - Larry and Rhoda

Sarah, I am so sorry to hear of Philip's passing! You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God, our Heavenly Father, watch over you and shed His comfort upon you!

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Sarah, sorry for your loss, know that Phillip is with his Lord and no longer in pain. Cancer is so hard and yet it sounded like he had the best care, but God needed him more. Prayers sent your way and celebrate his life and remember the good times. Love to you!
