Newest Update

Journal entry by Laura Triezenberg

Marie asked me to post this message from her.

Beloved family and friends,
I want to update you on events with my legs since discharge from Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital (MFB).  I had a vein surgery follow-up visit including an ultrasound of my veins.  Everything indicated that the surgery was successful.  My blood was flowing normally in my veins.  Improved blood flow will help my body heal the wounds on my lower legs.  Thanks to God for this step.

I had a recent visit to the Wound Clinic to see my usual doctor there.  The Clinic doctor and the MFB nurses agree that daily dressing changes are needed.  My wounds clearly improve when the dressing is changed daily.  The challenge now is finding medical personnel qualified and available to come to Clark to change the dressing.  I have some leads for weekdays, but the weekends are more difficult.

I am deeply grateful for your prayers and love.  Many prayers have been answered.  Praise God.  I covet your prayers for wisdom for my medical team and for guidance to find medical professionals for dressing changes.

Wishing everyone a blessed Easter and thanking God for Easter blessings of resurrection hope,
With love,
Marie
