Peyton’s appointment went very well! Her echo looked great with normal size and function, which is truly amazing! Her EKG looked good as well, so they are stopping the amiodarone and continuing her other 2 medications. It will take six weeks for the amiodarone to completely clear out of her system, so the next six weeks will be a nerve racking time as we wait to see if her arrhythmia returns. Her doctors have laid out several possible courses should it return. In the meantime, she is enjoying the pool and beach and happy to have one less medicine to take.
