Peter’s Story

A CT scan on Dec. 29 showed a mass on Peter’s lung. A biopsy was done on Jan. 12. Twenty radiation treatments followed as well as a bronchoscopy to open airways and thorocentesis to drain off fluid.  None of the treatments helped very much, bringing us now to Hospice.  We welcome you to our CaringBridge website, our way of keeping family and friends updated. A Celebration of Life is being planned for Monday, May 7, 5:00-8:00, with a celebration service at 7:00. It will be held at Indian Creek Nature Center, 5300 Otis Rd SE, Cedar Rapids, IA.
