YAY Peter!!! Such great news! I'm so glad to know you have made it all the way to the other side of the Caring Bridge and are ready to join back into "regular" living, whatever that even means anymore. But seriously, SO glad for the news and appreciate you sharing it.
What a complex process! But I'm incredibly grateful that we live at a time when these options are available and that you can benefit from them. It's hard to imagine the degree of suffering and loss that people endured over the ages with limited analgesics and no antibiotics.
