I want to second what Joshua Leavitt wrote, Kate, and to thank you for loving, guiding words. You hold us *all* up. I've been celebrating Peter's birthday by getting acquainted with some of his music that's new to me via the website, which is gorgeous. (Thank you, Mark Badger!) Sending you love, Kate and Grace, and looking forward to seeing folks on June 5!
It's so good to hear your voice in your words, reflecting on the process. Your (written) voice has been a guide and thread holding all of us for this journey. Your words are lovely, as always -- as is the new website! What a pleasure to see it, and Peter's work reflected there. . . Thank you for doing this work of the heart.
I was sitting here in my car a moment ago, waiting to pick up Amalia from a post-rehearsal hangout with her new school/theater buddies, listening to “Yellow Field” via the new beautiful website, when I got a notification that a new message from you had arrived on the CaringBridge site. Thank you for it and for keeping us all together this way.
Peter is of course much on my and all our minds today… somehow, out of nowhere, and with no effort on my part, Life drew me this afternoon to an unplanned meeting at Keen’s Chophouse - today of all days. I sat in the pub and could do no other than to order a perfect Rye Manhattan, up, exactly as I would have done with Peter by my side - which he of course was.
