Thanks much to Molly and her family for creating a truly wonderful celebration of Pete's life on Saturday.
The many life moments with Pete that each family member shared was a salve for the loss of a very unique and amazing person. Simply put, he will be greatly missed by all of us.
We know that it must have been an enormous undertaking to arrange this gathering in the midst of such a loss, and all your hard work was deeply appreciated.
The musical send-off was beautiful. It was pitch perfect in terms of the kind of send-off he would have wanted. Thank you all for including us in this celebration.
Thank you, Sarah. I tried, unsuccessfully, to work out getting there to be a part of the celebration part of this journey. Oh, do I hate to miss it.
To Molly, Emily, Sarah, and Toby...….you are all on my mind, and am giving you all hugs now. It would have been great to be with you at this time, to express my support in person, to share what Pete's life and his departure mean for each of us, and to catch up on your lives and children.
Anita and I will join you in raising our glasses to our dear Pete on Saturday here in Santa Fe .
