Newest Update

Journal entry by Kacie Ticer

Hello everyone,

Our beloved momma passed away on November 7, 2019. She was surrounded by her girls, her sister, and dear friends when she passed and went on to be with the Lord. I am all sorts of choked up just logging into this site. After I logged in and went to the journal page, I immediately saw Amanda's last journal entry on October 26, 2019, little did we know how soon momma's time was coming.

When my sisters and I created this site, we did it with the intention to keep everyone updated; it turned out to be therapeutic for us at the same time. I just want to personally thank yall for all of the prayers, thoughts, messages, flowers, and so much more through out the years. All of the rides, food, I mean the list goes on and on of all the things yall stepped up and did for us. It does not go unnoticed.

Everywhere momma went she had her ministry. She loved to talk about her HEB ministry, this is why it would take her 2 hours at the grocery store, she wanted to talk and love on everyone she came in contact with. I want to encourage yall to do as she did, smile and say hello to others, you never know when they might need it. I've started trying to do this myself. The truth is, the love of the Lord can shine through us in mighty big ways and that can be as simple as a smile.

For 63 years momma fought the good fight, for 24 years she battled cancer and we battled next to her. We fought for her life and for Jesus' name to be made known through her story and our stories. Now we learn how to continue to fight the good fight and how to move on while momma is at rest. To be honest, this is very difficult and painful. Momma's resting easy with the Lord and we are resting easy with the Lord. Either way we are with the Lord.

Thank you for walking this journey with us.

Much love,
Wesselski Girls
