Dearest Zach,
I counted Peggy as a very dear friend and am so sorry for our loss. I’m sure you know this, but it bears repeating: she loved you with every fiber of her being. I also never met Peggy in person, but we both thought I would come see her during 2020. We’ve known each other since we quit smoking and have remained close. She was an amazing woman, wicked funny, a tough cookie who was also tender and loving. The “ replacements”, as you called the dogs, made her laugh each time she retold the story. I imagine you know she was working on a book for you. I gave her a contribution, per her request, and included my cell phone. My email is mksuib@aol.com. Please let me know if there is anything we, her quit smoking crew, can do for you. Meanwhile, we embrace you in our love and support. Also, I suspect we’d like to make a contribution in her memory to something Peggy cared about — we know she loved animals, nature ( our park ranger!)... if you have a suggestion, let us know. Please also give us an address or email where you can receive notice of our donation. Again, let us know if we can help in any way. Our love for Peggy is endless, and we wrap you in it too!

Zach, Peggy was a special friend. Though we never met in person, we chatted back and forth on Facebook and Messenger. My sincere prayers for your comfort and peace. And man hugs, fist pumps and all best wishes to you! Bob Young, CUC member on Facebook.
