I counted Peggy as a very dear friend and am so sorry for our loss. I’m sure you know this, but it bears repeating: she loved you with every fiber of her being. I also never met Peggy in person, but we both thought I would come see her during 2020. We’ve known each other since we quit smoking and have remained close. She was an amazing woman, wicked funny, a tough cookie who was also tender and loving. The “ replacements”, as you called the dogs, made her laugh each time she retold the story. I imagine you know she was working on a book for you. I gave her a contribution, per her request, and included my cell phone. My email is mksuib@aol.com.
