Peggy’s Story

Site created on October 26, 2014

Peggy passed away on November 9, 2020 surrounded by her family. After defying the odds in a 6-year battle with cancer, she allowed herself to join her Lord and Savior in Heaven. There will be a Celebration of Life service for mom on Friday, December 4 at 10:00 AM. The service will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church (CPC) in Edina. Safety during the pandemic is a top priority, as such all in-person attendees must register prior to the service. CPC has established strict COVID-19 protocols and can accommodate 180 people safely.  Social distancing and masks are required for all in-person attendees (visit the registration link to review all protocols for the service).

To attend in person, please register at https://forms.gle/qd5vW4fdfFH6xhtN8 or by calling 952-920-8515 x246.

Livestream of the service will also be available at http://livestream.com/cpc.

At this time, there will be no visitation but a luncheon celebration will be planned for Summer 2021. In lieu of flowers or gifts, we would like to ask you to consider a memorial donation to the Angel Foundation (https://mnangel.org/donate/).

The pandemic poses unique challenges to honoring loved ones but we know that, above all else, mom cared about the safety of her family and friends. As such, we will continue to monitor the evolving situation in Minnesota and best practices published by health officials and the state. We will post any updates to Mom's CaringBridge site, should there be a need to alter any of the service details or arrangements.

Lastly, we want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support that we've received.  This has been an extraordinarily difficult time for us but we are grateful to have such a wonderful community to lean on.
