Peggy Jo was not only my manager at Northrop, she was also a very, very dear friend...part of our family - sister to my wife and I and auntie to our daughters. She was empowering and exceptionally supportive of her staff - she was one of the best managers I ever worked for. Under her leadership, we were able to create world-class, industry-recognized employee involvement activities and interventions.

Peggy was focused on challenging the status quo in order to ensure empowerment of all individuals, resulting in exceptional business outcomes. After she retired, she continued operating that way. She never let cancer get in the way of her love for all - regardless of their position, persuasions and actions. PJ was exceptional at bringing diverse folks together and achieving the impossible. She was always cheerful and was always willing to help others through their struggles never acknowledging to them that she was going through equally tough struggles. But that was Peggy Jo....

I always looked forward to her phone calls and visits. Her famous greeting to me was a brash “What are you doing?” to which I replied “Talking to you at the moment.” I will miss that and, above all, our discussions about the latest “going’s on” in our lives. She absolutely adored her son Joe and bragged about the great things he was doing and equally adored his lovely bride. While we all may have stories about how Peggy Jo awesomely affected our lives, I’m sure that there are so many, one book can not contain them all. Love you Peggy Jo for all the awesome memories. May our Lord continue to bless you and your legacy!
