Journal entry by Peggy Harvey —
CELEBRATION TIME!
I had my last radiation treatment today. This week they have consisted of a single zap, in and out in no time. Paul brought me home afterward and I snoozed all afternoon. Except for follow-ups and reconstructive surgery in about six months, I can call this done. (Physical therapy continues.) It feels strange somehow. This experience has claimed much of my time and energy in the past year. I've learned to value my life and health in a new way. Thank you for accompanying me on this journey.
Love,
Peggy
