It's Paul's One Year Anniversary!  

I wanted to take this final posting to share with you that as we have walked through this year, I have thought of you.   You gave me peace during a time of turmoil.  You gave us hope when we felt like there may be little and you gave us joy each time we celebrated a milestone in Paul’s recovery.  Most of all, we felt the love of our friends and family every step of the way.  For all of this, we are so very thankful.

It is hard to believe that it has been one year since we started this journey.  Paul is back on his two-wheel bikes (oh yes, I even let him get another one).  This is nothing short of a miracle.  He has worked so hard every step of the way and I couldn’t be a prouder wife when I get to share his motivation and determination.  

To the medical staff that were a huge part of our miracle, we are thankful.  You will always have a special place in our heart.  

I am especially thankful for everyone who took care of me, the cats and our home.  I couldn’t have done this without you.
