Journal entry by Bill Heger

Good afternoon. Things continue to go well and mom is keeping focus on her daily “three things” PT schedule.

Other than that she continues to rest, her back pain is getting better. We had a doctors appointment at 9am for another check up and prescription conversation. Mom also had some concerns with stitches & staples so Dr. Nelson sent pictures to Dr. Spooner at Methodist hospital for review.

Methodist called this afternoon and we went to Dr. Spooner’s office where confirmed the skin was red and irritated, so he removed all the stitches & staples. Painful mom said, but she said it felt better and was glad to put that part behind her.  When got home we had light lunch soup/sandwich since then she’s had a few siestas. I’m sure the “my pillows” and a comfy cozy blanket had nothing to do with that.

Have a wonderful night.
