Hi everybody, I just wanted to do a quick check in. I am currently on Orcas Island, trying to find a new tenant for my one bedroom unit and taking some time to myself.
The other day I went for a hike around Mountain Lake and realized when I started that I actually felt like running, so I did a combination run/hike and I felt great. My recovery has been positive and I can confidently say that today I feel even better than I did the day I got my diagnosis, which was almost a year ago. In fact I’m not sure when it was... I believe it was sometime in July or August. I guess I’m not going to keep that as an anniversary, which I think is just fine.
I’m writing this from a beach at Obstruction Pass State Park, that’s where I took this photo. I’m doing very well. Very very well. Love to you all! XO Paula
